You may know that the first industrial revolution happened in England, right? But do u know why? It's because of many facts, which was or not a coincidence, well let's begin:
-Glorious Revolution: we all know that for the capitalism exist we need money that buy power, right? But in absolutism monarchy that's not entirely correctly, because if u are a commoner than u'll be a commoner for the rest of ur life even if u have all the money in the world, but that change in the Glorious Revolucion, because the nobles needed the power of money to substitute the king when they takes him down, so it's estabilished the parliamentary monarchy that is constituted by the king, which is only the image of the contry, and the parlament, with both bourgeois(We call them capitalists) and nobles. This is a huge progress to the power be bought by money.
-Then we have the Enclosure Acts, that is a politicy made by the rural capitalist to expuse the rural commoners of the rural areas because they wanted space to cultivate more sheeps to sell the wool to Netherlands 'cause they had a growing tissue market, and that made people go in masses to the towns, making the first urbanization of the world.
-Because of that the city were overflowed with people (that was not made in day by night, took decades to become this), but this ocean of demand of people made the offer of salary plummet and that made the urban capitalists happy, but not the people, the crime in the cities were tremendous and many people were starving, but this forced a way too faster the process of the blooming of capitalism.
-The scene was perfect: in one way we have the raw material, wool, and in other, masses of people beggin for a job. So the tissue fabrics begins growing in a fast speed, but not only that. All fabrics related to the most needed thing to the england people: food.
-Well the rest was just a natural flow, only one thing was not natural: the marine. Willian Petty influenced the politicies of England, that was the protection of the national markets, and built a huge marine that could protect the nation commercial ships and wealth. That was a big contribution, because of this made the England gain the title of the "Empire that the sun never sets".
