super interesting but I had issues. Not with the plot, but what they're trying to convey and how they're doing it.
MC is raised from birth as a killing machine and then robbed of his life and turned into a hideous monster/hunting dog for the humans. he's shackled to a girl who gives him life by the hour via blood transfusions so he can't escape without dying.
Now I'm already tilted with that, but okay, it's an interesting plot.
my issue arises with the side characters. As the story progresses we learn that the humans are all scumbags that deserve death and all the high rank vampires are damaged and tortured humans that turned to the vampire lord for salvation. And the vampire lord wants to eradicate humans so he can genuinely create a world without conflict.
so as the story continues, I find it really fucking hard to sympathise with the humans and I'm rooting for the vampires who have genuinely had it rougher than most.
and I guess that's the point, but it's unsatisfying af and if the plot does take a shift away from humans, it's not happening any time soon so it's too late.
7.5/10, I may reread when there are enough chapters to get a conclusion
That was an entirely useless arc that didn't progress the story in any way whatsoever. They could have just showed her body in a panel and moved on. We didn't need to waste a few chapters on this
every chapter I read has me siding with the vampires and hating the humans. And Gunther isn't even a human either. He's literally their bitch. They don't even like him and they're definitely going to kill him at the end. Pisses me the fuck off
That soldier fucking hit the nail on the head.
those bastards SHOULD die.
seriously, think about it, the vampires are all broken beings evolved into something beyond human where their deformities are no longer a shackle and they're all loved by their king.
If all the humans were eradicated, you would essentially have world peace were all the vampires are amicable towards eachother, irrespective of their physical form, because they have blood ties to their lords who are in turn controlled by one being who's word is iron law. If he says peace, then there must be peace or the perpetrators die
Ironically, the new hero is the only one who can sympathise with the monsters pain, since he's a monster himself.
that aside, this monster guy is 100% correct. You can save people but once your 15 minutes of fame is over, you'll be left with the scars and nothing to show for it apart from your own self righteousness
Honestly if I was him I would give them flowery words till I got my limbs and kill everyone aside from the girl.
i would give only her the ultimatum, she can either follow and he'll assist in good faith or she can let him die and the world it's guaranteed to continue as it is. That said if she chose the latter I would also kill her on the spot as well
that's the way it's gotta be, live or die on your own terms, not at the order of some motherfuçkers that turned you into a monster
that said it did hurt me a bit when the kids screamed. Because it means that Nígga lives the life of solitude. It's just him and his weapon and constant death.
that's a tough way to exist
shout out to the OG, guts.
feel like reading berserk again after writing that comment

I pretty much hate all the characters except the MC and the two girls.
good story

Like I said, I'm 100% on the side of the vampires at this point. Sure they're murderers but I can fully understand their position at this point.

Honestly I'm hating this more and more.

I would capture them and take them to the vampire king because they're worth converting
Chemon
KILL HER YOU USELESS VAMPIRE. PLEASE JUST KILL THAT UPPITY BITCH
Chemon
Without a shadow of a doubt, I would have killed him on the spot for that remark.
how fucking dare he judge someone that's had to fight every single day of his life and call his struggle meaningless and hollow.
Chemon
Cool. I'd pay for money to see the expression on her face when it fails and she's about to die
Chemon
Oh man. I don't blame him… I probably would have hesitated as well

A fuckin xenomorph

I have a fundamental issue with this series and that's the fact he's a bitch.
not because he's weak or not ruthless enough but because he's literally their hunting dog. They own him
everything else is cool but it really tilts me that he's not fighting for himself, he's just a tool
Chemon
Goddamn. Gunther going the extra mile. Drowning is one of the scariest ways to go
Chemon
Killing all the high rank vampires is fine but if I was Gunther I wouldn't kill the top dog.
the second humanity is saved, G-man becomes redundant and they switch him off and use his body for research.
hes already living off borrowed time, why would he want to expedite his demise?

I bet the author wanted the faces to have hair but to create that many hair styles is too difficult lol

More like his Battery pack is in danger
