Let's just pass it off as murim behavior😅
Mrleakage1
But she ain't f-ing with no broke 🥷
Mrleakage1
I think we should call 'Escape from the Central Plains' arc
Mrleakage1
I understand where you’re coming from but some will still follow you regardless of that fact
Chemon
That’s true. Some people are too loyal for their own good.
Which is respectable… But they should really choose their loyalties better, rather than picking someone who would lead them to their demise 😂
Mrleakage1
This is murim bro, honor is everything to these people
Chemon
Yeah I I agree.
I can’t remember the context, but in general, I understand trading your own life for your beliefs, but I don’t agree with trading the lives of others for your beliefs.
That’s a bit selfish ain’t it?
Sung Drip Woo
honse is a goated man
Nacho Serrano
surprised pikachu
Chemon
Oh I just reread my comment. I actually did drop it right here. 😂
I think this chapter WAS actually the breaking point lol
Chemon
It’s more enjoyable to release the frustration before I move on to the next chapter rather than letting it pile up in my head
It’s no fun to bottle it up
TonyMav24
Stop reading 😂if you're just going to complain every chapter
Chemon
Dropped c76
this series has some high highs but some really boring lows
starts off cool, some great writing and interesting characters and unique plot execution. Seriously really good like 8.5/10
the 'escape' arc drags a bit but in fairness, it should. It highlights how stressful it is.
the 'barbarian/tribe' arc is GOATed, 9/10 super fun, wicked characters and faced paced development. Highlight of the series. I could read an entire series on this arc alone
afterwards we go into the assassin arc which floats between boring 5/10 and a 7.5/10 at its best. Honestly it's tedious and grey and a bit boring, they sprinkle in just enough to keep you hooked but overall it's mediocre.
i dropped it right near the end of the arc, maybe it gets better but I realised I don't give a fuçk about the plot and I'm not getting enough satisfying character interactions between the characters we came to love in the early chapters
over all? maybe 7/10 – straight average. Give it a go, but drop it after they leave the tribe lol
Chemon
I don't caaaaare about any of these people
i want to see the MC start up his clan
i want to see him and his wife do funny stuff
i want to see the tribe guys being bro's
i want to see that old tribe leader be the cool confident badass he was in his intro
i want to see the guy take care of the girl he rescued and potentially wifey her up
i don't care about this white hair bitch that MC is following. Nor do I care about these shaolin guys, why are they taking up so much time?
i can't be bothered with this series anymore. I'm out
Chemon
I wish they spent more chapters on the healing of the girl that homeboy saved.
that would have been a nice arc. Some of this assassin stuff can get a bit boring.i don't even know how its possible to make it boring but they done it somehow.
Too much focus on lame side characters and not enough on the characters we came to love from the early chapters
Chemon
Fuckin simp idiot.
deserved to get shanked, never hesitate to kill any one who means harm
Chemon
Have to admit, I'm slowly losing interest
Chemon
RIP AND TEAR
NO SURVIVORS
Chemon
When they're travelling on horseback, I think he's at the rear?not sure but I feel like he's the guy with the mohawk and two face tats.
Chemon
I'm falling out of love with this series but then there will be 1 cool chapter like this one that hooks me back in for another round of disappointment till the next cool thing happens.
why can't we go back to the tribal arc, that was super fun throughout the whole thing lol
Chemon
Yeah the writing in this series has fallen off a bit.
Chemon
This old guy is the most interesting character currently
Chemon
Pretty cool although I thought it was retarded that he screamed his name during the sneak attack
Chemon
"Oh you beat me in a fist fight, I'll devote my life to your crew and become an assassin"
what? Is that normal behaviour?
Chemon
I don't like how they're walking the middle ground. Seems a tad bit wishy washy?
maybe it'll get better
Chemon
Fuck that, I ain't shanking myself for anyone let alone some bitch that wants me to save a stranger. And I especially wouldn't allow my crew to harm themselves over it either.
that's strike 1 against this series for the MC being a fuçking loser
2 more and I'm out
Chemon
To be fair, they were all trash as well.
like he said, they abandoned whatever ties they had just to live an easy life. Now I ain't sayin she a Golddigger…
Chemon
I don't really care about the side characters… I don't really care about the main plot either actually
BUT I do want to see homeboy take care of the girl he rescued. Feel like that would heal my soul
Chemon
Oh. Two general rules for assassin's in my mind
never leave witnesses
never leave or take any evidence
they broke both of those rules on their first jobs lol
Chemon
I'd gladly kill those guys… But I'd probably struggle to finish her off as instructed as well. It's hard to be cold and ruthless against someone who's already been through hell.
Chemon
Lol, that was pretty funny
Chemon
If he kills the guy he owes his life to, I'll drop this on the spot.
i know he won't kill him, because MC is a good dude, but thems the rules. I can't fuck with that level of snakery if he actually did kill him
Chemon
Interesting, MC putting up a facade and acting like a boss rather than his goofy self.
i get it, I can fucks with that
Chemon
Everything aside from the main plot is great.
only problem is, I don't give a fuck about that white hair lady, her goals or whatever, I also don't want to see the MC be a slave worker. Id much rather he just go exploring with the wifey and buddies.
Chemon
I dunno, but you probably want to open a window
Chemon
I like that he knew the case right from the start.
he wasn't ever a dÃckhead about it either
Chemon
Wow an MC who's actually not a dense mf… That's nice
also that mojin guy is such a chad, he's super upright, no hard feelings about losing to a kid. Did everything he said and is still giving sound advice. What a cool character
Chemon
Haha that was a great fight. No wasted time, everything was done in pursuit of progressing the story
exactly like how a good fight should be written
Chemon
That chief was mega fucking cool
how can he have so much confidence😂
this arc is really fun. Waaaay better than the running away arc lol
Chemon
Yeah that's my dawwwwg
that's the feeling that's been missing since the start.
they've only been running, so it's good to see the mc proactively making moves rather than staying on the defensive
Chemon
It's quite an Eastern thing to be conscious about dark skin, fairer skin has always been treated as more beautiful… Which I personally think is nonsense… But that's why she got defensive
Chemon
That was some good character development.
the mistake, the honesty, the recognition, the resolution, all of it felt natural
I'm enjoying this… But it does feel like something is missing.
Chemon
Don't think he's part of their group, I would imagine it's bad form to steal someone's prey.
unless they ARE the same group?
Chemon
Aw fuck, I'm not crying…
but damn, yeah she's a good girl, I like her. She did the same thing I would have done if a orphan said that to me😂
what can I say, I'm weak to stuff like that, just like she is lol
Chemon
Wait what the fúck?
fuck that noise, I wouldn't be willing to lose an arm for some fúcker or any bÃtch.
Chemon
She's wifey material no doubt, what a G
Chemon
Lol. To be fair it's NOT plot armour.
the author is using predefined skills to resolve the fight, nothing was BS last second magic.
Imo, that's why it didn't feel tacky and cheap like it does in some series
Chemon
Forgot he had the ability to talk to rats
also, while i understand the idea behind giving him a sword, I don't think it's worth the lives of your own soldiers to uphold some bs honour.
Chemon
Its good writing. The fact that it's not a case of the main characters being strategic geniuses and the villain being dumb as a plank Is a good thing.
its interesting when the villains are equally as clever and scheming.
bht yeah, the author loves torturing the mc 😂
Chemon
That was a pretty badass response from the kid, ngl
Chemon
😂😂😂.
caught me off guard again. But I giggled this time
Chemon
Jesus fucking Christ.
i thought he tricked or threatened him to use his connections as an escape tactic
i didn't realise he went full leather face and wore the guys bloody face as a mask.
that's next level psycho…
don't get me wrong though, I love that it caught me off guard lol
Chemon
Why would you snitch on yourself like that.
now he HAS to kill him, rather than just walking away
Chemon
That's a real nigga right there
also… Fuck those guys
Chemon
Oh fuck, that was actually creative and well thought out assassination method a kid could do.
it wasn't some bs where a kid overpowered an adult with strength
Chemon
That finisher move was sick af
Waku Waku
Bad..
Sakthi
What the fuccc iss going on here bitch what is this bitch are they free of the nine sects control fucking weaklings
