If mc would have killed the hunter now, he would have been caught in investigations, for killing a high rank player, even if the elf would have killed him. Since the ranker would be carrying that meter like thing and it can also track there location, unless they buy their own or create, they are still using the monster kill meter, provided by association and that top player is also under association.
I was also like 'why the fk mc is playin with fire, letting him go', they are still living in a civilized world and mc is nothing but a C-rank, so he doesn't hold authority enough to get him out of little mishaps.

I'm not sure if we are reading the same thing… MC made it clear that dungeons don't exist in that world, as it was only a theory up to this point. So, the only way for guilds to get corpses is when monsters spawn in the real world like we've seen earlier.. Which I guess is somewhat pretty rare. On top of that, 3.2 million wons is 2,292.39$.. Which is basically the price of a cow. (cows go for 1500 to 3000$ in our world)
For the weapon, I don't know if the bat is a special anti monster weapon or just a normal metal bat. But I guess that in South Korea, it's not easy to get a real weapon, furthermore when the MC is poor… A metal bat is still pretty good.
