all the characters are likeable, MC is powerful and knows how to have fun but is still able to kill (monsters) and threaten everyone in a satisfying way.
art is average, fights are concise, comedy is decent. It's light-hearted and easy to read.
i noticed this takes some cues from monster hunter too with Palico cats and other subtle bits – 7.9/10 all round, good fun but not perfect. Give it a go.
